Tax Laws Amendment ( Measures No. 1) Act
The Budget included a measure to ensure that any gains or losses on certain assets of a superannuation fund will be taxed under the capital gains tax CGT provisions.
Treasury is releasing a proposals paper that will form the basis of consultation on the policy design of this measure. The proposals paper sets out, in broad terms, how the measure may be implemented.
